NM Bags The SBI Intercollege Hindi Quiz Competition

• The quiz contest was the part of SBI’s Hindi Pakhwada celebration
• Wilson College and SIES College stood at second and third position respectively
• Teams from twelve of the city’s premier degree colleges participated in this competition
• Bank also organised an online Hindi Quiz Competition for all SBI staff members

Mumbai – September 27, 2019: Narsee Monjee College won the State Bank of India Intercollege Hindi Quiz Competition organised by the bank in Mumbai to celebrate Hindi Pakhwada. Wilson College and S.I.E.S College stood at second and third position respectively. Teams from twelve of the city’s premier degree colleges including Jaihind College, Wilson College, Maharishi Dayanand College, Maharashtra College, SIES College, Vaze College, Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College, K.J. Somaiya College, Sathaye College, Thakur College, Ramnarain Ruia College and Narsee Monjee College, participated in the competition. The winners were rewarded with attractive prizes by the Top Management of SBI.

This endeavour of SBI in the form of Intercollege Hindi quiz competition was highly appreciated by the participating students. They also suggested the bank to continue conducting this programme every year, which is the brain child of Shri Alok Kumar Choudhary, DMD (HR) & CDO, SBI. An online Hindi quiz competition was also organised by the bank for all the staff members of SBI across the country that witnessed more than 24000 paricipants.

For years, SBI has been a pioneer in promoting the progressive use of Hindi and other Indian Languages. The bank is continuously scaling up the implementation of Hindi in their internal as well as external communications. SBI also gives importance to Hindi language at its ATMs, CDMs and its flagship lifestyle and digital platform YONO.
